The seed for the nectar of the gods was sown in the barren desert. Many millennia have passed since barley has bloomed in the inhospitable climate of Rajasthan. For our uncompromising quest to create the finest spirits, we use the traditional Indian six row barley, which is cultivated using old indigenous practices that rely on organic and sustainable methods. The yields may be smaller, but it lends a fruity and floral distinctive taste to the spirits.
The trinity that creates a treat for the senses
The magic of the marriage of three different wood casks comes to its splendor when our malts are matured in ex-bourbon, ex-wine and ex-sherry casks. It embellishes our malt with the finest shade of Amber, whiff of caramelized pineapple, vanilla, hints of black tea, raisins & citrus and subtle nuttiness. The smoothness and flavor linger long after the glass has been put aside

Trini, the three wood was conceptualized based on the individual contribution of each wood without overshadowing the original whisky profile which is light fruity with sweet vanilla and spice, a subtle nuttiness to chew on with a medium to reasonably long finish.
Tasting Notes
Nose:
Gentle and mellow on the nose. Hints of black tea, caramelized pineapple with a whiff of oak comes forward, followed by vanilla and honey from the bourbon oak and traces of spiced tannins from the European oak, finally topped up with vinous raisin and sweet sherry notes.
Palate:
Elegant richness, smooth and warm on the sides of the mouth. Gentle spice and wood characters come through, followed by nutty flavors and hints of burnt pineapple, citrus, and raisins.
Finish:
A subtle and balanced finish, each flavor compliments one another without dominating. A smooth and long after taste with sweet fruity flavors coming up from the warmth of the throat, lingering long after.
THE DISTILLERY
Piccadily is the largest independent manufacturer and seller of malt spirits in India.
The distillery has six Scottish-style copper pot stills - three are wash stills (25,000 liters) and three are spirit stills (15,000 liters). Together they produce 12,000 liters of malt spirit daily and four million liters annually.
The height of the wash stills is 9.7 meters and the spirit stills is 5.7 metres. The wash stills resemble a lamp shape while the spirit stills have an onion head in the cone area to increase the reflux, resulting in a light, floral and fruity spirit.
Our American-imported oak barrels are assembled, cared for, toasted, charred and repaired by our expert in-house coopers.
At Piccadily, we embrace a 70/30 philosophy: 70% of the flavor of our spirits comes from our high-quality and attentive labor in the warehouse, that begins with choosing the best barley for our product, while 30% comes from a je ne sais quoi quality, the indescribable mix of the elements and a whole lot of love.

Master Blender
Surinder Kumar, the Godfather of Indian Single Malt, served as Master Distiller, Blender and Vice President at Amrut from 2006 to 2014, and has been creating award-winning single malts since 2004. He has been attracting single malt lovers from all over the world with his expressions.
